Johannes Brechts τριάς is a striking outlier in todays club music landscape - a rhythmic experiment that defies convention by embracing the 3/4 time signature. Over three meticulously crafted tracks - Triple Form, Sphere and Cube - Brecht weaves the elegance of a ballet suite with the driving force of house and techno, creating a sound that is as unexpected as it is hypnotic. The title, τριάς - Greek for triad - hints at the EPs three-part structure. This symmetry extends beyond the music to the artwork, which is inspired by the abstract forms of the Triadic Ballet. Just as Schlemmers ballet fused geometry with dance, τριάς reimagines the dance floor as a place where classical forms and modern beats coexist in harmony.
